The funding of RTD activities is provided pursuant in accordance with the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia No 259 on the procedure for providing support for participation in international cooperation programs for research and technology (adopted on 26 June 2015). |
Major eligibility criteria |
R&D institutions (research institutes, universities, higher education establishments, research centres etc.) must be listed in the Registry of Research Institutions operated by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia. Private entity must be registered in the Registry of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia, provides most of its R&D&I activities in the Republic of Latvia and be able to submit its financial statements for the last two closed financial years. No more than two partners from Latvia may participate in the project. Project eligible cost types: - Direct costs: personnel costs, travels costs, subcontracts (up to 25% of total direct costs), other direct costs such as materials and consumables, equipment (only depreciation costs), and etc.; - Indirect costs: can reach a maximum of 25% of total direct costs, excluding subcontracting costs. |
Submission of the proposal at national/regional level (schedule, cut-off dates, deadlines, etc.) |
After the M-era.Net 3 consortium has recommended the project for funding and the project coordinator has received this decision, the project participant shall submit to the Latvian Science Council an “Application for granting support for the implementation of the project” and the project application. |
Submission of financial and scientific reports at the national/regional level |
Once a year the project partner should submit to LZP the periodic scientific report and financial report. |
