Report on the assessment of transnational projects funded under the M-ERA.NET Co-funded Call 2021 published

The report presents the results of the assessment of 70 projects funded through the M-ERA.NET Co-funded Call 2021.

The assessment confirms strong scientific and innovation impacts, with project results contributing to more than 200 peer-reviewed scientific publications. Most projects progressed from TRL 1-3 at project start to TRL 4-6 at project completion, demonstrating significant advances towards technology validation and future exploitation.

The report also highlights the strong transnational added value of M-ERA.NET. An overwhelming 93% of respondents stated that their project would not have been realised without M-ERA.NET support, while 82% reported that cooperation within the consortium will continue beyond project completion. The funded projects also contributed to key European priorities, including sustainable industrial development, circular economy solutions and future battery technologies. The results demonstrate M-ERA.NET's important role in supporting scientific excellence, innovation and long-term European collaboration in materials and battery technologies.
