Joint Call 2026

The M-ERA.NET Call 2026 is launched on 4 March 2026. 34 funding agencies participate with an indicative budget of about 39 million €.

The aim is to fund ambitious transnational RTD projects addressing materials research and innovation supporting the European Green Deal and the United Nations's Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Call Schedule:

  • The Pre-Proposal Deadline is 12 May 2026, 12:00 noon, Brussels time.
  • The Full-Proposal Deadline is 18 November 2026, 12:00 noon, Brussels time

The scope covers innovative materials, devices and systems that store and distribute any kind of energy (electrical, chemical, mechanical, thermal energy, among others).

The pre-proposals can be submitted until 12 May 2026 using the M-ERA.NET submission tool.

Only project coordinators are asked to submit the proposal.
